Gwangjang Market, full of food and energy

Gwangjang Market, full of food and energy

Once you enter the market, it's hard to just walk past all the food, from the smell of bindaetteok (mung bean pancakes) to yukhoe (beef tartare) and gimbap. If it's your first time, the crispy mung bean pancakes are the most famous, and 'drug' gimbap is great for a quick bite. If you like beef tartare, I recommend trying it or yukhoe bibimbap in the Yukhoe Alley. It's also great to enjoy street foods like tteokbokki and fish cakes. Walking around the market while trying a little bit of everything allows you to experience both the old market atmosphere of Seoul and its vibrant energy.
