Around Chilcheon Bridge, Geoje: Two Bigfin Reef Squids when the current weakens

This is a car-camping fishing trip report where I returned to the area around Chilcheon Bridge after moving between several breakwaters to avoid the wind on Chilcheon Island, Geoje. The map address is based on the location of Chilcheon Bridge; please refer to the video for the exact casting spot. The creator explains casting from the breakwater facing the bridge toward the small island in front. 🦑 Catch in the video Caught 2 bigfin reef squids. The first was caught during the day, the second after returning to the bridge area, and no further catches were made during the next morning's eging. Exact weight and mantle length were not provided. Tried for hairtail as well but had no luck. 🪝 Rig and Strategy Used a 3.5-size normal type Odongmok egi. Checked for reactions by sinking after jerking and changed egi colors. In this trip, bites occurred when the current weakened or stopped rather than when it was strong. It is worth noting that during spring tides, the current was too strong to check the bottom. 📌 Visit Tips Moved to several places like Hwangdeokdo and Geumgok due to wind and current. Rather than expecting a catch based solely on ink marks in one spot, check the wind, tide, and footing together. Bring warm clothing and safety gear at night, and do not enter restricted areas. This post summarizes the trip at the time of filming; please check current conditions separately. Reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7aPXPJkM3A
